How AMPP was shown at IBC 2024
IBC 2024 Amsterdam September 13-16 At IBC 2024, Grass Valley showcased a fully integrated camera-to-consumer workflow, powered by AMPP. AMPP seamlessly hosted and connected both the hardware and software solutions on display, including LDX 100 series cameras and Creative Grading, GV Orbit orchestration, K-Frame and Maverik X production switching, and content and playout solutions from Framelight X to Playout X - all running on COTS servers located on-site and in multi-region public cloud.
We also unveiled the new XIP-3911-Grid gateway. This innovation addresses the challenge of how to get high density SDI I/O into COT's compute, further driving down cost and improving quality and agility.

The PST/PGM toggle just released to LiveTouch X lets users seamlessly switch between program outputs or preview transitions before going live. It also allows for applying transitions to entire playlists or individual clips with customizable durations. Panel improvements also include timeline marks for easy navigation, auto-stop, maglock and enhanced input controls, making content management smoother and more efficient for operators.
New for IBC, AMPP Control now lets you execute AWS Lambda functions directly from the AMPP platform. By registering Lambda functions as AMPP Control commands, you can trigger them with a simple press of a button from an AMPP dashboard, Control Panel, StreamDeck, or any connected device, streamlining automation within the AMPP ecosystem.
