There are three main themes that came out of the Grass Valley 2018 Global IP Barometer Survey. Below is a high-level summary of those themes and the top findings for each of them:

    The No.1 tech consideration is open standards
  • Status of IP Migration Progress
    The transition to IP is slower than originally forecast with only 43% with IP deployments already underway
  • Handling the Broadcast / IP Skills Gap
    50% of people in the United States and 55% of those from Europe believe that they ‘partially’ have the required skills in place for the IP transition.
