AMPP Tally Gateway: Tally Management Redefined
The AMPP Tally Gateway App works seamlessly in both directions, and we are excited to deliver this much-requested feature. It allows external systems to drive AMPP tally states using Tally Inputs, while AMPP tallies can control external systems via Tally Outputs, all through the powerful TSL protocol. This bi-directional capability integrates effortlessly into hybrid installations, seamlessly extending hardware-based systems with AMPP’s unique elasticity and flexibility.
What makes it even better? The app runs as a workload within the AMPP ecosystem, eliminating the need for external hardware. For example, camera control via the AMPP-based Creative Grading X solution fully integrates tally control without any additional equipment. This simplifies setup and provides a consistent, reliable solution for tally management across production environments.
With tally indications orchestrating the entire crew, the AMPP Tally Gateway ensures your operation works together in perfect harmony - no matter the workflow, location, or setup.
FrameCache Plus: Powering Low-Latency Data Exchange and Proactive Monitoring
FrameCache is a cornerstone of the AMPP ecosystem, designed to ensure ultra-low-latency data exchange between microservices. As the critical link connecting AMPP’s modular architecture, it allows individual microservices to seamlessly share frames of data, maintaining the responsiveness and precision essential for advanced media workflows. This foundational role makes FrameCache indispensable for any compute node running within the AMPP environment.
The new "FrameCache Plus" version extends its capabilities beyond efficient data exchange by offering signal probing tools, such as black and freeze detection, to proactively monitor stream integrity. Alerts can be directed to the AMPP Dashboard or Advanced Changeover (ACO) applications for immediate visibility. For even greater operational awareness, audible alarms and visual indicators can be integrated into the multiviewer (and the System Dashboard) ensuring that issues are identified and resolved in real time.
